Candidate must be ideal for this role will possess a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrate strong communication and written skills. The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment driven by complex software systems and processes is essential. Candidates should be self-motivated, effective team players, and skilled in problem-solving, data analysis, and troubleshooting issues related to content quality. Good interpersonal skills are necessary to manage ongoing relationships with the software team and inter-operations teams. Additionally, proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is required to perform various tasks seamlessly.

Job description :

The primary responsibility of the Content Quality Associate is to analyze and perform quality checks on digital content for e-books, identifying and validating errors reported by various systems and customers. The role requires a quick understanding of e-book content quality standards, operational workflow tools, and other supporting tools. Associates need to continuously adapt to and learn new features of various tools and systems, following standard operating procedures (SOP) to catch content errors.

Key tasks include performing content quality checks to ensure a superior customer experience for content viewing and Kindle device usage. Associates will use software tools for quality audits, content editing, and data capture. They must be aware of operational metrics like productivity (number of titles processed per hour), quality (defect percentage), and delivery/latency Service Level Agreements (SLA). Performance will be measured based on compliance with these metrics, SLA requirements, QA guidelines, team goals, personal goals, and the ability to ideate and drive process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications :

Possessing a proofreading skill set will be an added advantage for this role. We seek a self-starter who is also a good team player, capable of working collaboratively while taking initiative. Strong attention to detail in editing content is crucial, as well as the ability to dive deep and identify the root causes of issues. Knowledge of or experience in the publishing industry is a significant plus. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to drive new mechanisms within internal teams to enhance processes and improve overall efficiency.

A strong background in proofreading is highly beneficial for this position. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and can seamlessly integrate into team environments. The ability to meticulously edit content and thoroughly investigate and resolve underlying issues is essential. Prior experience or knowledge in the publishing industry will greatly enhance your suitability for the role. Moreover, candidates should possess the capability to introduce and implement new strategies within internal teams to foster innovation and process improvements. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to driving efficiency and quality are also critical.
