Amazon is looking for a motivated individual to join its Amazon Shipping team as a Transportation Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading logistics and e-commerce companies, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of Amazon’s shipping operations. As a Transportation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages, optimizing transportation routes, and supporting the continuous improvement of Amazon’s logistics network.
key responsibilites:
As a Transportation Specialist for the Amazon Shipping team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution and continuous enhancement of our logistics operations. You will gather requirements from various business units and customers to understand their challenges, conceptualizing effective solutions to address these issues and ensure efficient and reliable transportation services. Ensuring that all business processes align with Amazon’s internal approval framework, you will maintain compliance with established protocols and procedures to uphold the integrity and quality of our logistics operations. Working closely with stakeholders, you will gather and accurately map the commercial data of our customers, a crucial step for optimizing routes and enhancing overall efficiency.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will monitor key program metrics, regularly reviewing performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. By collaborating with stakeholder teams, you will drive necessary actions to meet and exceed performance targets. Managing daily and weekly performance metrics, you will build mechanisms to detect and reduce defects, with a strong focus on continuous improvement to ensure our transportation services remain efficient and reliable.
