Over view :
This role focuses on optimizing cloud infrastructure and driving efficiency within the development and operations processes. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration, development, and deployment. They will configure and manage public cloud environments for enterprise applications, refactor and migrate on-premise applications to the cloud, and troubleshoot issues within AWS and GCP environments. Additionally, the role involves developing automation solutions to reduce manual efforts, providing expertise in architectural design, and implementing cost optimization strategies. - Possess 0-1 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Administrator, with a deep understanding of the cloud computing market, enterprise, and open-source technologies.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to implement instrumentation and monitoring for production environments.
- Proficient in using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell/Bash/Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experienced with CI tools like Jenkins/Bamboo and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with application security tools is a plus.
- Measure and automate cloud operations KPIs for AWS and GCP services.
- Provide consultation on Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure offerings.
- Integrate with corporate datacenters and third-party infrastructure such as VPNs, Direct Connect, and firewalls.
- Manage shared cloud infrastructure services including Azure and AWS organizations, VPC, IAM, IPAM, security groups, NACLS, routing, active directory, Federation, DNS, and more.
- Offer hands-on technical coaching to enhance cloud infrastructure knowledge across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement codified stacks tailored to their applications.
- Support and operate cloud team products and legacy applications outside a full-stack operating model.
- Promote infrastructure as code and configuration management best practices throughout the organization.
