Responsibilities :
In this role, you will be responsible for data analysis, data profiling, and data sourcing, ensuring the integrity and quality of data used in various processes. You will create Data Quality (DQ) rules and review any DQ exceptions to maintain high standards. Additionally, you will maintain the Global Financial Crime (GFC) Critical Data Element list within the Enterprise Data Governance repository, Collibra. A thorough understanding of data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources, and data integration for GFC Risk Assessments will be developed. You will translate business requirements into data models and ETL design specifications, assisting in ETL development, testing, and troubleshooting ETL issues.
Preferred qualifications :
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling, along with proficient SQL query-writing skills. They should have robust analytical, profiling, and troubleshooting abilities, complemented by a solid understanding of Big Data/Hadoop platforms. Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and experience with Python are essential. The candidate should have experience in data integration, data conversions, and using ETL tools, as well as familiarity with Autosys. Experience with data visualization software, preferably Tableau, and data modeling tools, preferably Power Designer, is also required. Basic familiarity with Collibra, used for maintaining a repository of Critical Data Elements, is beneficial.
