Responsibilities :
Develop and implement new features and enhancements for Azure Storage services, ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards. Design new capabilities for the storage performance measurement and analysis platform. Debug and resolve complex issues across multiple software components that prevent the integration of new hardware technologies. Analyze large-scale performance measurement data to identify software or hardware bottlenecks. Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and customers to gather requirements, provide feedback, and deliver effective solutions. Document and communicate the design and architecture of the software clearly.
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) by developing and following a playbook, working on call to monitor systems/products/services for any degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about the status, and initiating actions to restore systems/products/services for both simple and complex problems when necessary. Continuously seek new knowledge and stay updated on trends, technical solutions, and patterns that can improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of the product.
