As a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Siemens, you will join a training program that helps you develop your technical and professional skills. You’ll work with experienced engineers on various projects, gaining practical experience in areas like electrification, automation, and digitalization. Your tasks will include designing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions. This role requires a good understanding of engineering basics, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. Must have these skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Ability to understand customer requirements, identify needs, and resolve issues positively
  • Adaptability to shifting demands and competing priorities
  • Effective time management skills to consistently meet established deadlines.
You’ll contribute by:
  • Collaborates with the sales team to understand project specifications and customer needs, occasionally participating in job site walk-throughs.
  • Designs systems for standard facilities, including mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, valve and damper schedules, and control panel layouts.
  • Interprets and designs sequences of operations to determine hardware and logic requirements for systems.
  • Assists in analyzing plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements and risks.
  • Selects appropriate types and sizes of products.
  • Communicates with sales and management to ensure job scope, specifications, and schematics meet customer requirements.
  • Participates in sales-to-operations turnover meetings to assess the accuracy of estimates and job layouts.
  • Assists in peer reviews of engineering documents.
